I am an engineering professional born/raised in the US. I consider myself a well-rounded individual and tend to be goal/task oriented, but occasionally go with the flow and see what new things turn up. I am fairly laid-back about most things, and think that flexibility is key to getting along in the world.

I find intelligence, honesty, maturity, loyalty and humility appealing traits. I am a fairly upbeat person who sees the positive side of most things (glass is half full). I value open communication (key to any relationship) and life balance, I may not have perfected them, but am working towards it.

I like to keep active and have a variety of interests. Some interests: tennis/museums/music/outdoor activities/events/travel. I enjoy reading, volunteering and teaching. I believe in trying to learn something new and am always open to trying and checking out new things.

I do not have a detailed check list of things I look for in a partner, but am open to... more asking and being asked questions if my partner is serious about getting to know each other.
