Kalpesh came into my life like an irresistible breeze that swept me away so softly without my knowing. Our story started from Shaadi.com in August 2013, when those were my last days of registration in India and he being on the brink of giving up in the US. I finally listened to Shaadi's suggestion and expanded my partner search preferences. That's when Kalpesh's profile popped up on the screen. He accepted my request within a few days and we never looked back from there. Our chats on Skype and Whatsapp involved a whole range from Kobe's dunks to bollywood masala and sufi songs to science and yoga. We loved our sparks in topics and it wasn't long after that we both decided to meet in person. He was so quick in visiting me from USA (got his visa within a month and flew over) that it totally swept me off my feet. I liked it but still felt it was too quick. He never put any pressure on me during our meeting even though he was head over heels in love. My parents and my whole family fell for his charm and honesty way before I did. We had the most amazing days but his proposal just before his departure was what made me knew he was 'The One'. His second visit to India was our engagement. On his third visit, we flew to the US for our Civil wedding, which was then followed by an Indian traditional wedding in India on the 9th of Feb, 2015. So, here I am finally settled in a new place, a new surrounding with a person I feel I've known and waited for years. It would never have been possible without Shaadi.com and their caring people.
